Until Next Time.
No one wants to say goodbye… With such a powerful meaning, we often say this word as if it meant nothing. A basic, respectful way to know we’re going separate ways, accompanied by other appropriate phrases like, “until next time” or “I’ll talk to you later.” So why is it that we even bother to say goodbye if seeing that person again will soon be at hand? As far as I know, we’re simply human. Just too damn human. Defeating one of life’s purposes because that it the only way we can understand our daily dose of existence. It’s a word, only a word and as part of life, it’s our job to define it. So what does saying goodbye really mean? Because saying goodbye is yet another alternative for saying, “goodnight” or “take care.” However… Isn’t it ironic that goodbye is subconsciously used commonly, but when someone leaves this world… We never have a chance to say it.
